2. Representative in the European Union

Our representative in the Union under Art. 27 GDPR is WoE Wine of Excellence GmbH, Sachsenring 38, 50677 Köln, Germany. Data subjects in the EU may also contact the representative with any data protection question.

3. Access to your device

This website sets no cookies, uses no local or session storage, and does not read device characteristics in order to recognise you. That is why no consent banner appears: there is no storage or read operation that would require consent.

No third-party analytics service is embedded and there is no contact form. Access figures are evaluated solely from server log files (see section 4).

4. Server log files

When you access this website, our hosting provider Netlify processes technically necessary connection data: the page requested, the time, the volume of data transferred, the referrer, browser and operating-system information, and the IP address. This data is required to deliver the page and is used by us in aggregated form to measure reach and detect technical faults.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest in the secure and functional operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; Art. 31 revFADP).

5. Email correspondence

When you write to us, we process your email address, your name and the content of your message in order to reply and to document the business relationship. Our mailbox is operated by Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, Switzerland, acting as our processor. The data remains in Swiss data centres.

Please note that an unencrypted email could be read by third parties in transit. Do not send us sensitive data by email.

Legal basis: Preparation or performance of a contract, and legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR; Art. 31 revFADP).

6. Appointment booking

On the contact page you can load a booking calendar. The provider is Calendly LLC, Buford, Georgia, United States. The calendar is loaded only after an explicit click — no connection to Calendly is established beforehand and no Calendly cookies are set.

Clicking transmits your IP address to Calendly, which is technically necessary to deliver the booking interface. For the booking itself you enter your name, email address and a time slot directly with Calendly. You then decide about any further cookies yourself, via the banner Calendly displays inside the booking interface.

Calendly processes the booking data as our processor; the data is processed in the United States. Calendly is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its Swiss extension; the standard contractual clauses in the data processing addendum apply in addition.

Legal basis: Your consent given by actively loading the calendar (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the initiation of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

7. Fonts

The fonts used are served from our own server. Loading the page establishes no connection to Google Fonts or any other font provider, and no IP address is transmitted to third parties.

8. Disclosure abroad

Under Swiss data protection law we name the countries to which data may be disclosed:

• Switzerland (mailbox)
• United States (hosting; booking calendar only after your click)

9. Retention

We retain email enquiries for as long as necessary to handle them and to document the business relationship, after which we delete them unless statutory retention obligations apply. Server log files are deleted or anonymised after a short period.

10. Your rights

You have the right to information, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent at any time. To do so, contact service@vintelligence.eu.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, in the EU with the authority for your place of residence.

We update this notice when processing on vintelligence.eu changes. The version published on this page applies.
